 I was one of the Channel 1964 swim team. An amazing experience I learnt so much thanks to our sports teacher Jayne Dale in having the belief we could do the swim. 

 Good luck with all the challenges, I’m sure you will all be very successful. I remember the excitement when the last Channel swimmers returned to Carmelite Street.

 My daughter receives full bursary from CLSG, which opens a lot of doors for her. I am so happy to see she enjoy the school life so much, especially the sports! I would love to contribute too. I wish more girls will benefit from the bursary scheme. 

 The benefit of my Middlesex scholarship which allowed me to attend the city was immeasurable.
